Motion Designer

We’re looking for a talented Motion Designer who will be responsible for creating and delivering high quality motion graphic treatments across a wide variety of styles and platforms. Technical proficiency AND creative intentions.
We need someone who can turn an A4 page of text about sustainability, into a video that captures (and keeps hold of) your attention as you fly down your Facebook newsfeed.

Being the voice of our client’s brands on social channels by managing social publications, as unlocking the full power of conversations in the digital space. In close collaboration with the Account Manager, you are responsible for the successful execution of the strategy.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and produce motion graphic elements for existing video footage.
  • Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements with motion graphics to enhance creative output.
  • Design & produce animated video content from scratch with minimal existing footage (eg. vector illustrations turned into an animated video).
  • Assist in creating video treatments and storyboards for video ideas.
  • Develop design aesthetics that align with client brand identity and guidelines on all projects.
  • Actively propose styles of motion graphics to improve the quality of content.
  • Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives, and actively contribute in the creative brainstorm/development process.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with more junior members of the creative team.
  • Be an active advocate of anything and everything that’s creatively inspiring.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Motion Designer (After Effects) and video editor within the creative industry.
  • An excellent understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A clear understanding of how video content differes across various devices.
  • An interesting portfolio that showcases a variety of projects demonstrating a wide range of motion graphics skills.
  • Must have excellent design, typography and layout skills. Attention to detail is critical.
  • Excellent time management skills and experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • An energetic team player, with a can-do attitude and a positive personality.
  • Professional understanding of English.
